  • Can you tell me more about your approach and how it’s different?

  • What is Intuitive Therapy?

» An integrative approach to therapy which recognizes the physical and metaphysical being of a person; The therapists’ and clients innate intuitions are used to create a deeper connection to the authentic self.

In other words, it is a psychological treatment that respects and emphasizes a person’s spiritual journey, with attention given to one’s energy and intentions, universal principals of love and abundance, and utilization of intuition to connect with one’s highest self.

  • How long are sessions?

Sessions last 50 minutes. I offer longer or more frequent sessions if needed.

  • What happens if I need to cancel?

I do request that cancellations be made 24 hours before your appointment to avoid incurring my session fee.

  • What happens if I’m running late?

It happens. I will hold your session time and we will begin as soon as you arrive. I am not able to prorate session fees.

  • Do you offer skype, phone or in-home visits?

Yes, I do. If you are away from home and do not want to miss a session, I can offer appointments via phone or over a HIPAA-compliant video platform similar to Skype (Zoom). In the event of child birth or recent injury/surgery, I do offer home visits for current clients. These appointments typically must be made at least 48 hours in advance. I am unable to offer initial intakes for new clients in-home.

  • I’m ready to get started. What’s next?

Send me an email through my contact page, or give me a call at (424) 248-8390 so that we can talk briefly and schedule your first session. You can also email me directly at DrAlisaRosenberg@gmail.com. Please include your name and contact information, as well as a few available times to reach you and I will give you a call.

  • Do you see Couples?

    Yes

  • How much does a session cost?

    » $275/ 50 Min-Session

  • What if I can’t afford your fee?

I do have a limited number of sliding scale slots available for those experiencing financial hardship. If these slots are full, I can provide referrals for affordable therapy. Please call for availability and to find out if this policy applies to you.

  • What payment types do you accept?

Payments may be made by cash, check, Chase Quick Pay/Zelle, Venmo or credit card.

  • Do you take insurance?

I do not bill insurance directly, however, I can provide documents for you to submit for reimbursement, as I am an “out-of-network provider”.

  • Helpful questions to ask your insurance company:

    * Do I have mental health coverage?

    * What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider?

    * How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?

    * What is my deductible and has it been met?

If you choose to seek reimbursement, you can do this with a “superbill” that lists your diagnosis and other necessary information.
